For fence contractors
We book measured estimate visits with homeowners and businesses across New Hanover, Brunswick and Pender counties: privacy runs in Leland subdivisions, aluminum on marsh lots in Porters Neck, pool barriers on Topsail rentals, storm repairs after every hurricane season. We are looking for contractors who set posts at proper depth in concrete, show up when they say, write itemized prices and leave the yard clean. Send your company name, the towns you cover, the materials you install and a current certificate of liability insurance to hello@wilmingtonfenceworks.com.
For installers and helpers
The contractors we work with hire their own crews, and they hire steadily through spring and summer. If you can run an auger, read a string line and hang a gate that latches, email your name, phone number and the kind of fence work you have done, and we will pass it to contractors who are hiring in your area.
What the work looks like here
Sand that will not hold a post without concrete, heat and humidity from May to September, HOA standards in most new neighborhoods, salt air on the islands, and a surge of repair work after tropical storms. Experience with vinyl and aluminum systems is especially useful.
